NASA Science Mission Directorate Seeks Cryospheric Scientist

The Earth Science Division of NASA's Science Mission Directorate has announced a search for a Physical Scientist in the Cryospheric Science Program. The duties of this position include oversight of NASA's remote sensing data management program at NSIDC, the NSIDC DAAC.

The Physical Scientist leads NASA's programs for remote sensing of the ice-covered regions of the Earth, including remote sensing techniques, modeling, integration of in situ observations, and development of basic knowledge of the Earth's cryosphere.
