a professional services team who support data management and scientific
research through library and information services, outreach, science
writing, technical writing, user services, and Web design. She also serves
as editor of and writer for a NASA-sponsored annual outreach publication, Sensing
Our Planet: NASA Earth Science Research Features.

Service Leadership: Jane and her team's
goals include providing responsive, accurate information about scientific
data and research to NSIDC's several user communities, including science
data users, researchers, policymakers, press, public, and educators.
She champions user needs at NSIDC in areas such as user services, Web
usability, data set documentation, archives, and outreach.
